“Through MARY

to JESUS”

Our
Founder

“I am nothing but God directs everything. I only fulfill what God demands of me. I attest to the fact that everything I do is for the glory of God”.

Edmund Bojanowski was born the son of devout and patriotic landed gentry on November 14, 1814, in Poland. Although he was cured as a child, he continued to suffer from frail health.

Our Spirituality

“Ask only God and recommend yourself to the Blessed Virgin, and your sincere desires will be fulfilled”.

The spiritual life of the Little Servant Sisters is characterized foremost by actualizing the evangelical law of the love of God as well as the love of neighbor through the apostolates in the service of those in need.

Our Apostolate

“Work with your soul loving God above all, work with your heart practicing neighborly love, work with your mind while holding steadfast to the Cross of Christ, work with your hands serving the needy and the ill as if you served Jesus Himself. Even if your strength decreases, do not hesitate in your faithfulness. Do not search for rewards on earth, do not work for yourself but for God and for your neighbor.”..

The promised Savior of the world Jesus Christ became the first Apostle. He went about proclaiming the Good News and doing good to all people.

Vocation

“The Lord’s call is not an intrusion of God in our freedom; it is not a “cage” or a burden to be borne. On the contrary, it is the loving initiative whereby God encounters us and invites us to be part of a great undertaking. He opens before our eyes the horizon of a greater sea and an abundant catch”.

It is the Lord who calls. For the woman called to consecrated life, only his mercy suffices to explain that call—and the response it draws forth. The desire to give her heart undivided to Christ manifests itself in a desire to give her life in a concrete way, here and now, for the salvation of souls..

Our Vowed Life

Out of love for God, most of all, and with Christ as our model, we serve our neighbor most in need of help, spiritual and material, especially children, the poor and the sick. Our Congregation undertakes the Christian upbringing and education of children and youth…

Prayer

“When you are praying together I stand in the midst of you, as does a father in the midst of his children. I look at you with love. I make a note in my heart of every movement of yours, every effort, and every act of love. Can you comprehend the greatness of my love – my care for you? I am to serve you at every moment”.

Prayer is a duty of every man, a need of all the faithful.
Sisters pray for the Church, for the whole human family, especially the poor and the suffering, for sinners and the dying so that all may obtain God’s mercy.

Community

“Every religious congregation is my beloved garden and the individual sisters are the flowers among which I rest happily”.

Love is the theological basis for the religious community life. It is love that brought its members together, uniting them with one another and with Jesus Christ. Love imparts joy to live, inspires generosity in service and secures strength for perseverance.

The love of Christ impels us to make this world more Godlike and more humane, and to make life more bearable.”..

Through the daily Eucharist, individual and communal prayer, reading of the Holy Scriptures, we learn from Christ how to best serve our fellow men and women in places where the Lord places us. Remembering the principle passed on to us by our founder, Blessed Edmund Bojanowski, which is to serve others as if we were serving Christ Himself…
